The Thermal Hunter definitely has what it takes to compete. The sleek red blaster actually offers what you want from a blaster. The icing on the cake are new, particularly precise darts and a Red Dot Sight that responds to heat sources.
The Pump Action grip makes a high rate of fire possible without affecting the handling (as with blasters with priming sleds on top). To prime the blaster, you don't need to reposition your grip: the hand which stabilizes the blaster can remain there also during the priming process. So you can easily keep your target in sight.
